Angus Halal Beef
Our beef from Certified Irish Angus Beef cattle, graze on lush open pastures where they are free to find the sweetest grasses, wild herbs and natural clovers which give our premium beef its unique flavour. Certified Irish Angus animals are reared in small herds by small-scale farming families who are passionate about farming and have the utmost respect for the land.
All of the animals are predominantly grass fed; this would constitute a summer diet where the animals graze on pastures and in the winter months they are mostly fed on preserved grass in the form of hay or silage.
Due to the diverse selection of farmers supplying us it would not be possible to confirm that no grain is used in their feeding. However, each supplying farm must make declarations confirming that the animals have not been fed on GMO feeds. Our beef is slaughtered by hand without stunning at an Irish slaughterhouse, which also holds HMC certification for beef and is hung for between 21 and 28 days.
