In our opinion, a well-cooked goose is very hard to beat. Superbly moist and tender and all the fat drips off to keep roasting those potatoes after!
Our geese are free to range out and eat from the lush Organic pastures of the Devon countryside. They are healthy vibrant birds that express all their goosey characteristics! They are noisy and hardy and can sometimes even see off a fox!

Approximate weight 7kg. Sorry, we cannot provide any specific sizes to customers so please plan contingencies for dinner! This item is only sold as whole and cannot be processed/cut in any way.
Storing your Goose:
If you want the goose to be best and not to spoil you can either clear out a big area on the bottom shelf of your fridge or freeze the goose and defrost the day before you want to eat it. I recommend the first option for the best results.
When in the fridge the goose needs to be out of the bag and air must circulate around it. I've made the mistake of allowing it to sit directly on the glass and this affected the flavour dramatically. There must be a gap between the meat and the fridge. Best done with a baking rack.
If you don't have the space to store it then get some ice packs ready and place it in an insulated box, or just use the packaging we send courier deliveries with and regularly change the ice pack.
